Holiday Celebration for the Children of Dnipro

In the midst of ongoing conflict, childhood in Ukraine looks drastically different than it should. Schools operate primarily online. Spontaneous gatherings are impossible. For over 500 vulnerable children in Dnipro—those who've been displaced from their homes, lost parents to war, or watch their mothers and fathers serve on the front lines—isolation has become their daily reality.

This December, we're determined to change that, even if just for one magical day.

We're partnering with RISE of Ukraine to host our second annual New Year's celebration, creating what has become a cherished tradition now in its fourth year. In a carefully secured venue with shelter access, we're creating a New Year's fairy tale: a day filled with music, games, laughter, and the simple pleasure of being surrounded by other children. Each child will receive a special gift—a tangible reminder that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

For children facing the trauma of displacement, loss, and separation, this celebration offers something profound: the chance to feel like a child again. To experience wonder instead of worry. To create joyful memories in a time overshadowed by hardship.
